Top 10 Men's Fragrances
By Jackie Burns Sympatico, Shopping Contributor
I'm torn between which scent I love most, a classic men's cologne or Cinnabon. I go all weak in the knees whenever my husband dabs a little Angel by Thierry Mugler on himself, but then again, passing the cinnamon roll stand has the same effect. If they ever decide to bottle that heavenly aroma, you can be sure one of the following scents will have to be bumped off the list to make room for it. In the mean time, here are Fragrance X's Top 10 sellers for men's fragrances:
10. Obsession by Calvin Klein
9. JOOP! by Joop!
8. Grey Flannel by Geoffrey Beene
7. Chrome by Loris Azzaro
6. Eternity by Calvin Klein
5. Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche
4. Acqua di Gio by Giorgio Armani
3. Lagerfeld by Karl Lagerfeld
2. Paul Sebastian by Paul Sebastian
1. Cool Water by Davidoff
Warning: There is a limit when it comes to using various products from your favourite line. Brush up on fragrance layering 101.

Excellent suggestions! For lack of being in the Top 10 sellers, you can find Givenchy's men's fragrances here, including Very Irresistible and Pi. Jean-Paul Gaultier's fragrances are here and Dior's Fahrenheit is available here. These fragrances are worth discovering; who knows, given some more word of mouth like this, they'll make it into Top 10 sellers lists one day?

This list seems to be lacking some real great smelling colognes, poorly made. The best men's fragrance simply has to be Sexual by Michael Germain. Here is my word of mouth, check it out and pass it on. Ladies melt at the smell of this.

Smeller, this is a list of best sellers. These are the perfumes that have sold the most, not "the best perfumes". Not everyone is blessed with the same taste as you might have ;)

The best fragrance that tops all.. is Giorgio Armani Attitude, thats the most amazing smell u can get! Ladies luv it;)

You are missing 2 of my favourites on a man. These both smell so sexy!
BOSS by Hugo Boss and REACTION by Kenneth Cole.

Sexual seems to hit a nerve, so to speak, as one of the writers noted. I would also recommend Vera Wang. I've received very nice compliments when wearing either of these two. Ciao AB

Oh my gosh,, I would have to say Farhenheit is the best,, I get weak in the knees when I smell that stuff..
Posted by: Cee | Oct 3, 2009 2:50:42 AM
When were are talking about classic's, definately Farhenheit is on my top list, that stuff is amazing and I am a girl saying this. True that this list would not be considered the best selling by most, but if these were the perfumes that sold the most then we can't critisize much can we? All the other names mentioned are also great, it's al about personal taste in the end, I also love Code by Armani. Now when it comes to Creed... "This is the distinction between the men and the boys.A class of its own,for the lone wolf."
